RALLY is predicated on the principle of collective impact to tackle large scale social issues involving multiple stakeholders. Our function is to facilitate greater collaboration among partners to improve educational outcomes within their community. Often programs and initiatives work independently and disconnected from other organizations with similar missions. Despite best efforts, no single organization can create the type of large-scale, systematic change students need in our region. As partners rallying together, we can encourage coordinated action, share information and knowledge, and help one another succeed independently.
RALLY helps to develop the following:
All participants share a vision for change with a common understanding of the problem and a joint approach to solving the problem
All organizations agree on the ways success will be measured and reported with a short list of common indicators identified and used for learning and improvement
Teams of stakeholders coordinate a set of differentiated activities to reinforce plan of action
All players engage in frequent and structured open communication to build trust and collaborate on plan of action
Staff dedicated to the initiative provides ongoing support by guiding the initiative’s vision and strategy, supporting aligned activities, establishing shared measurement practices, advancing policy, and mobilizing resources
